

Jack Kreitzer of Vancouver, WA, passed away on July 1, 2010. He was born in Portland, OR on January 8, 1948 to Irma and John Kreitzer. Jack graduated from Beaverton High School in 1966 and received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University in 1970.
Jack worked at Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) as an electrical engineer for 36 years, and was very well-respected in his field, receiving an Exceptional Service award in 2006. Customers and co-workers alike admired Jack for his integrity, work ethic and positive outlook.
He had many hobbies: camping, building and flying radio-controlled (RC) airplanes, golf, and traveling, especially to Hawaii and Arizona where his kids and grandkids live.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Angela (Ed) Balliet of Phoenix, Arizona and Aaron (Lisa) Kreitzer of Kailua, Hawaii; two sisters, Carolyn (Stan) Schell of Beaverton and Claudia (Lin) Jones of Tacoma, Washington; parents Irma and John Kreitzer of Beaverton; three granddaughters and one grandson. He is preceded in death by one granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 7 at 3:00 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church at 7708 NE 78th St., in Vancouver.
