

Born and raised in Memphis Tennessee, Larry was a graduate of Messick High School. He later attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he studied business and accounting, both of which aided him in his lifelong profession as a computer programmer. During the 1960’s, Larry served his country for four years in the Marine Corps.
Along with spending time with his family, Larry most enjoyed studying God’s Word, serving in his church, puttering in the yard, taking his girls to Special Olympics events and being a volunteer with Nehemiah’s Servants and at Royal Ridges Camp in Yacolt.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sherry, to whom he was married for 48 years; sons Brett (Leanna) and Brian; daughters, April, Shannon, Crystal and grandsons, Blake, Ethan, Nicholas and Zachary.
A memorial service will be held October 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Battle Ground Community Center with an interment at Willamette National Cemetery at a later date.
For those who would like, donations in memory of Larry may be directed to Special Olympics of Vancouver, WA or to Grace Bible Church of Battle Ground to be used for missions.
