Michael Halbeisen

Michael Halbeisen, 68, of Vancouver, WA, passed away Thurs., March 21, 2013. He was born in Florence, AL on July 26, 1944 to Eugene and Margret Halbeisen. Mike started out life with many adventures in a military family, traveling Europe after WWII.

He graduated from San Jose State with a major in Business and Law Enforcement.

Mike met the love of his life, Mary Anne Duggan, and they married Oct. 21, 1972. Their family became complete with the addition of their son Brian in 1977 and the family moved to Vancouver, WA in 1979.

Mike worked for many years in management for Union Ice Company. Later, he worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Clark County and held the position as President of the Sheriff Reserves.

He held many positions as Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister for St. James and Our Lady of Lourdes.

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; son, Brian; brothers, David (Maggie) and Jimmy (Carol) Halbeisen; grandson, Gabe; granddaughter, Jaquelyn; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Christopher.
