Mitchell Allen Smith

Mitchell was born to Robert & Maxine Smith on April 7, 1961 in Ridgefield, WA. He graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1979.

Mitchell is survived by his brother Randy Smith and sister Vicki (Jeff) Theis and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Maxine Smith and brother Gary Smith.

Mitch was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. Having grown up in Clark County, he knew the area well and hunted and fished all areas. He was fishing at Moulton Falls on the Lewis River when he passed away. He had many fishing/hunting partners that will greatly miss him as they enjoyed his knowledge and stories of his many adventures. He usually came home with the game he set out to catch and everyone knew he would.

Mitch was truly a good man with a kind heart. He helped anyone who needed it and didn’t expect anything in return. He will be dearly missed by everyone he touched.

There will be a public viewing on July 20, 2014 from 10am to 4pm and a Memorial service on July 21, 2014 at 12pm at Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
