Albert A. Murphy Jr.

He was born in Salem, MA to Albert A. Murphy Sr. and Annette Murphy he was born December 28, 1937.

He joined the United States Air Force after High School. He then became a Firefighter for the Salem Fire Department for 30 years until he retired and then became a Father of two. He was kind, loving and hardworking man. He did a lot of volunteer work for St. Joseph’s School and Church. He enjoyed camping, skiing, and he had a passion for the casino.

Albert is survived by his Wife Judith Murphy, his Daughter Joanne Anders, Brother Robert Murphy, Sisters- Gail Bovio, and Maureen Jelinek. Grandchildren - Billy Paradise, Eric Paradise, Christopher Anders, James Anders, Cassandra Paradise, Scott Paradise and Great grandchild - Violet Paradise and the mother of his daughters, Claire Murphy and he also has many Nieces and Nephews.

Albert is preceded in death by his Daughter Janice Paradise and his Sister Lorraine Mc Cannon.

A visitation for Albert will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL. A funeral mass will occur Friday, October 13, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5265 Placida Road, Englewood, FL 34224.
