Brian was born on August 14, 1954, in Greenwich Village, NY, to Lester and Nancy Levine. He spent most of his childhood in Florida with his siblings Jill, Michael, Aimee, and Liisa, and their menagerie of beloved animals.
Brian graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1976, and moved to Baltimore shortly after, where he owned and operated six Metro Nautilus Fitness Centers. He met his former wife Beth at Nautilus, and they went on to have four children over the years: Shirah, Ali, Aaron, and Nathanael.
In 1984, Brian felt called to Christian ministry. He spent time serving at several churches in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida, and attended Holyrood Seminary in New York to become ordained as a deacon in the Anglican Church.
In 1993, Brian, Beth, and the children moved back to Florida, where Brian worked as a salesman and maintenance manager for his parents’ campground, the Royal Coachman Resort. He also worked with his brother Michael operating two locations of Sonny’s BBQ restaurants.
Brian was a committed member of Holy Spirit Orthodox Church in Venice and is survived by his 4 children and 7 beautiful grandchildren: Tristan, Ever, Rhymes, Audrey, Trupin, Ria, and Rose.
