Donna M Gingrich

Donna McClure Gingrich – Age 78 who called Venice, FL home for her final years, after cherished times in Beaufort, NC and Elmira, NY, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 23, 2025.

Donna was born to the late William J. and Donna (Woods) McClure on December 12, 1946 and grew up in Media, PA. She graduated from Elmira College in 1968. A loving homemaker, Donna took great pride in keeping a beautiful home where her stunning gardens were a testament to her care and creativity. She also had a passion for dining and travel, with Key West, FL holding a special place in her heart.

Donna was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Dan. She was also predeceased by her brother, Billy McClure, and her father and mother in-law, Adam “Joe” and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Givens) Gingrich. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Todd) Ulrich of Boulder, CO with their son, Tommy; son, Danny (Pam) of Travelers Rest, SC and their daughters, Delaney, Ella, and Erin; daughter, Sarah (Tim) Hamula of Rotonda West, FL; sister, Patricia McClure of Venice, FL; brother-in-law, Gerald Gingrich of Covington, KY; sister-in-law, Mary (James) Palmer of Elmira, NY; brother-in-law, Joseph (Anne) Gingrich of Corning, NY; sister-in-law, Theresa (David) Woodruff of Millerton, PA; sister-in-law, Bernadette Allington of Apex, NC; along with several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Donna's wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours. Those wishing may remember Donna with a donation to the Josh Palmer Fund, joshpalmerfund.org
