Erika Lynn Yucalevich

Erika was born on January 9, 1997, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. The loving daughter of Kimberly Newhouse (Nick) and Albert Yucalevich (Sarah), Erika grew up in Lehigh Valley, Hatfield and Landsdale, Pennsylvania. After graduating from North Penn High School (Landsdale, Pennsylvania, Class of 2015), Erika went on to become a personal caregiver in Venice, Florida.

Erika passionately loved all animals, sunsets, music, and podcasts (Theo Von and Tim Dillon). Known for her kindheartedness and compassion, Erika put others first and was extremely giving in all things. In keeping with Erika’s loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to donate life so others may live it.

Erika was preceded in death by her cherished Papaw, Jack Newhouse, and her beloved dogs, Gizmo and Molly.

In addition to her parents, Erika is survived by her brother Dale Sorensen (Kelsey), sisters Emily and Eliza Yucalevich, Mamaw, Shannon Newhouse, grandmother Sheila Walter (Stephen), step-grandmother Bernadette Kuhne (Rich), aunt Anita Newhouse (Randy), uncle Len Yuccalevich (Nico), cousins Hunter and Sam Dalske, and many other friends and family.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 12-4pm at Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397, 935 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055. Donations may be made in Erika’s honor to the no-kill animal or rescue shelter of your choice.
