Gary was born in Meriden, March 3,1952, a son of the late Thomas Kenney and Clara (Barta) Kenney.
He graduated from Lyman Hall High School. Took on a career in the Automotive Industry, becoming a specialist in many aspects of repair. Continued his career in Englewood, Florida for 35 years until his retirement.
Gary was extremely family oriented. Loved being with his siblings. Also a Fishing, boating and motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by son, Adam Canning and significant other Jesse Hughes. His son Jeffrey Kenney and his wife Rebecca Kenney; his grandchildren, Lily Kenney, Ace Kenney, McCabe Kenney and Tom Kenney.
He’s the youngest of 3 brothers Kevin Kenney, Thomas Kenney, niece, nephews and dear friends. His family will greatly miss him. He was predeceased by his wife; Nora Kenney, his son; Gary Jerome Kenney Jr. and his daughter; Debra Kenney.
