Born June 10th, 1968, she died peacefully in her sleep March 13, 2025. She was suffering from cancer, but it is more accurate to attribute the cause of her death to the indifference and inhumane cruelty she endured from the state of Florida's criminally inadequate healthcare system.
She leaves behind an incredible legacy of love and devotion, and is survived by her children:
Erin Elizabeth Hotchkiss, her husband Michael Hotchkiss and their sons Rowan and Finnlay;
Stephanie Elise Ramsey, her husband Micah Pullon and their sons Atticus and Ezra; and Jordan Jack Ramsey Stover, the love of his life Taylor Clements and their three children Scarlett, Presley and Miles; paternal grandmother Edith Eleanor Ramsey; parents Jack and Linda Ramsey; siblings Denise Clay and her husband Stephen;
William Ramsey and his love Inner Velasco, and Sarah Harrison and her husband Kelly Kuyper; nephew Michael Angelini and nieces Cheyenne Kuyper and Hannah Harrison, her fiance Eric Brown and their son Fox; maternal aunts Margaret Schwarz, and Melissa Fawcett, her husband Thom; and paternal aunts Cathy Scott, Linda Gammon, Sherrie Borski, and Bonnie Summit and her husband Bobby; and more cousins and children of cousins and children of children of cousins than we can possibly list here.
All who knew her were deeply impacted by her indomitable will, independent spirit and fiercely unassailable sense of moral clarity. She worked tirelessly, loved with every fiber of her being, and would argue fearlessly and fight without fatigue for her family, friends, and for the rights of all.
While we deeply mourn her loss, we remain profoundly influenced by the way she lived, and rejoice that she has been set free from pain.
May all of our love and gratefulness go with you, our dearest Jen, as you adventure on. We will see you in the bloom of every flower, the majesty of every sunset, the smile and laughter of your beautiful grandchildren, and will carry you in our hearts forever.
