Lyle C Erfourth

Lyle Curtiss Erfourth, age 89, of North Port, Florida, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Venice Health and Rehabilitation. Loving husband of Yvonne Fay Erfourth (LaViolette), beloved Father of Dennis, Kenneth and Timothy Erfourth (Wife, Stacey Lynn Erfourth). Grandfather to Devin (Wife, Meghan Maria Erfourth), Coyote, Mayalee, Hallie and Ethan Erfourth. He was preceded in death by his son Dennis J Erfourth, parents Frank and Elsie (Curtiss) Erfourth and sister, Barbara Bitner (Erfourth).

Lyle was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He had a career as an Industrial Millwright for RTE/ASEA and Magnetek Corporations in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Englewood. Lyle was the first President of, and one of three establishing members of the Harbor Cove resident-owned community. During much of his life in Florida, Lyle was a member of Harbor Cove Boat Club, The American Legion and Amvets #312.

A memorial service for Lyle will take place at Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 222 Englewood Road, Englewood, FL 34223 on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 11:00am, Interment with military honors will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241 at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
