Maria Teklics of Englewood, FL died on December 23, 2025 from complications after a fall. She was born August 11, 1939 in Felsocsatar, Hungary. Daughter of Andras and Gisele Bencsics. Wife to Leslie for 64 years. Mother to Leslie S. and Richard F. (Wife Deanna) Grandmother to (Leslie’s:) Jennifer (Husband Arthur), Kaitlin (Husband David), and Brian (Fiancée Laura) (Richard’s) Rebecca (Husband Brian) and Rachael (Husband Alex). Great Grandmother to (Jennifer) Maxwell and Samuel, (Kaitlin) Simon and Sofie, (Rachael) Noah. Her Love for Family and Friends shall be missed…and her cooking with Love shall be missed too.
A service of Remembrance shall take place 11:00am on January 24, 2026 at St Francis of Assisi, 5265 Placida Rd., Grove City FL followed by burial at Gulf Pines Memorial Park at 2401 Englewood Rd., Englewood, FL 34223.
