

Marianne was born on August 12, 1947, in Birkenau i/Odw, Marianne’s life journey spanned continents and decades, marked by a deep commitment to those around her and a vibrant spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She received formal recognition from the German Government as a certified legal assistant—an achievement that reflected her diligence and precision.
Marianne is survived by her devoted husband Frank, her beloved son Larry (Angela) two stepdaughters Brittney (Lance) and Erika (Chad), and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Ulrike, brother Hans, and her parents Emmi and Leo.
Those who knew Marianne often described her as a ray of sunshine—she brought light and energy wherever she went, illuminating any space with her presence. Her warmth and compassion was matched by an unwavering attention to detail and a selfless dedication to helping others. Whether offering support to someone in need or simply sharing a kind word, Marianne had a way of making people feel seen and valued.
Her passions were as colorful as her personality. She loved propagating plants—often far beyond the space available to house them—and found joy in nurturing life wherever she could. A true explorer at heart, she traveled extensively across the globe and throughout the United States, making new friends in many of the places she visited, and embracing new cultures and experiences with enthusiasm. Her fondness for antiques was legendary among those close to her; she delighted in collecting treasures regardless of whether their antiquity was universally agreed upon.
Marianne’s legacy is one of kindness, curiosity, and quiet strength. She touched many lives with her generosity of spirit and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
