Robert E Whiteley

Robert “Bob” Whiteley was born in Orange New Jersey. He and his wife Gerri, son Bob, and daughters Kathy and Jill lived in Oak Ridge for 30 years. Bob retired from UPS in Parsippany NJ. after 30 years of service before moving to Rotonda West, Florida in 1985. He was a veteran who served in the Korean War.

Bob was an all around fun loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He had a passion for classic cars was a member of a number of car clubs in the area. He enjoyed, fishing, driving his classic cars on weekends and to shows, family functions, playing cards with friends and neighbors and was always joking around. Bob lost his loving wife Gerri in April of 2023.

He leaves behind brother Ron, son Bob, daughters Kathy Correale and Jill Whiteley, grand children Carryne, Cortney,Brianne,Blair, Great grand children Emma,Leah,Ethan,Gracie,William, and Reece.

A memorial mass for Robert will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5265 Placida Road, Grove City, FL 34224. Following the memorial mass will be a celebration of life at 11:45 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5265 Placida Road, Grove City, FL 34224.
