Ruth Catherine Mamlock

Ruth Catherine Mamlock, 96 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 25, 2025 surrounded by family. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 5, 1929 she was the daughter of Earl and Alice Gill of Warwick, RI. She was preceded in death by her brothers Earl and John Gill, her sisters Patricia (Farrington), Dorothy (Lee) and Donna Gill.

Ruth was married to the late Lemuel J. Mamlock, who predeceased her in 1988. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Kelleher and son in law William Kelleher of Placida, FL; son John Mamlock and daughter-in-law Lauren Mamlock of West Barnstable, Ma; son Kevin Mamlock and daughter-in-law Dori Mamlock of Cotuit, Ma and son Ken Mamlock and daughter-in-law Charlotte Mamlock of Punta Gorda, Fla. She is also survived by her grandchildren, William Kelleher, Jennifer Spencer, Christine Childress, Nancy Mamlock and Meghan Mamlock. Four great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Timothy Childress, Aubrey and Marlena Kelleher.

Ruth resided in Centerville, Ma for over 57 years. She enjoyed endless summer days on the beaches and boating with her children and grandchildren. She golfed for many years in the Cape ladies league. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be a celebration of life in Barnstable at a later date to be announced. Burial will be at the Mosswood Cemetery in Cotuit, Ma. Family would like to thank Tidewell Hospice and Brookdale Rotonda assisted living for their compassionate care.
