Born in East Germany to Marlies and Emil Tippins Sr., Sabine grew up in Port Charlotte, Florida. She attended Charlotte High School and became a Licensed Practical Nurse through Hillsborough Community College, beginning her career. She had a true passion for helping others and was known for her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit.
Sabine was married to Morris Campbell Jr., and together they built both a family and a life of hard work and dedication. After her nursing career, they became business owners in Englewood, opening Campbell’s Place (bait and tackle shop), Campbell’s Appliance, and Campbell’s Thrift Store.
She was a devoted mother to Christy (Dena), Michael (Kayla), Ronnie (Nicole), and Cedric. Sabine was her children’s biggest cheerleader—always in the stands, supporting them at Football games, serving as a team mom, and showing unwavering pride in everything they did.
She was a proud grandmother to Justyce, Faith, Keshawn, SJ, Kaleigh, Jasmine, Bethany, Audrey, Skyler, and Lakyn, and a loving great-grandmother to 13.
She is survived by her sister Nancy and her brother Emil “Bud” Tippins, and is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rosemary, and her granddaughter Lakyn.
A woman of strong Pentecostal faith, Sabine loved the Lord deeply. Her favorite words, “God’s got me,” reflected the faith she carried throughout her life. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing she is at peace.
