

Daniel was predeceased by his Father, Arthur Wendell Lynn, Mother, Cleda (Moss) Lynn, brothers Ricky and Ronald Lynn.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Roxanne Roberts Lynn of 39 years, much loved daughter, Vicky Lynn Belcer and grandson, Danny Belcer, Hamburg, NY, sisters Bonnie Lynn (Jim McWilliams) Penn Yan, NY, Connie Jepsen, Englewood, FL and Faye Lynn, Branchport, NY, Uncle Gerald Lynn, Englewood, FL, cousins Joyce Tyler, Wanda Bailey, Paul Lynn, Linda Lynn Joachim, Michael Lynn and Susan Lynn Tedesko, as well as, nieces Stephanie (Michael) Harper, Tracy (D.J.) Chavez, Danielle (Dakota) Tempest, and nephew Paul (Desiree) Kerrick, and seven grand nieces and grand nephews.
Daniel graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1962. He served in the US Army as a parachute rigger from December 1964 to December 1970. After returning from the US Army he worked at Penn Yan Boat Company, attended a Rochester, NY trade school to learn Tool and Die. Daniel worked at Morton Salt Mines and did mine rescue in Himrod, NY, Alton Manufacturing, Inc., Rochester, NY and owned and operated Lynn Manufacturing from 1988 to 2021 providing precision work for many businesses and friends in New York State.
Daniel was previously a volunteer fireman with the Branchport Fire Department, a lifetime member and also served as President of the Branchport Rod & Gun Club. He served as a Councilman for the Town of Jerusalem, and remained a Trustee of Bitely Cemetery.
Daniel spent much time with his love of restoring classic cars for himself and for others. In addition, Daniel was an avid gun enthusiast, collecting and creating his own guns.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at the Penn Yan Elks Club on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 11:00am followed by a luncheon. Please join us in remembering what a loving, caring, and generous man he was. Come prepared to share your happy stories and memories.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made at Keuka Comfort Care, Branchport Fire or the charity of your choosing.
A private internment will take place at the convenience of the family.
