Aaron T. Dumas

Mr. Dumas was born in Oklahoma March 26, 1921 and was the son of Sam Dumas and Jennie Moore Dumas. Aaron was preceded in death by his brother Willy Mabone, Silvester, Earl and his sister Iva and Lillian.

Mr. Dumas has surviving children Renee, Velma, Zelma, Harold, Silvester, Jennie, Kenny and Catherine through his first wife Marie. Mr. Dumas was subsequently remarried to his present wife, Christine Dumas in Los Angeles 51 years ago and has a step son Dale Jackson. Mr. Dumas is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Mr. Dumas was an avid outdoorsman belonging to 3 hunting clubs. Not only an avid hunter, he also loved to fish and spend as much time outdoors as possible. Mr. Dumas love to travel with him saying to Christine “Let’s go east today…Let’s go North today…” and again they were off on another journey.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 13 at 1pm, Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura, CA 93003 with Rev. Jonathan Mulford officiating. Burial following the next day at 12:30pm at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
