Aedan Becker, 9 years old, left his body while being held by his beloved “Papa” early in the morning of Sunday, July, 21, 2013. Aedan was a special child that was born with multiple disabilities, and his physical being surrendered after complications related to his seizure disorder.
Aedan was joyful and always happy. The smile on his face was in glee of what was around him or wise in the knowledge of his mischief. He loved traveling in the family RV, going to school, and trying to pet any dog that came across his path.
In his short life, Aedan had numerous traveling adventures in California and he traveled to Germany twice to visit his grandparents. Aedan loved swimming in a pool, a lake or the bathtub. He kept active with his five brothers whether it was running in the park or playing in the dirt. He particularly loved soaking in the hot tub at the RV parks during family vacations.
Aedan's "Papa", Matt Becker would like to thank all the supportive members of the community that have participated in Aedan’s life - Tri-Counties Regional Center staff and vendors, County of Ventura Dept. of Children Support Services for Foster Care and Adoptive Services, and the Ventura County Office of Education.
Aedan attended Douglas Penfield School for 7 years where his teachers, para-educators & therapists provided him with the foundations for learning to walk, eat, communicate and manage his behavior.
Aedan is survived by his father, Matthias Becker; his brothers, Jeffrey, Isaac, Deion and his foster brothers, Israel & Daniel. Aedan leaves behind numerous other foster brothers that have shared his home in the past 9 years. Aedan’s grandfather in Germany, Erhard Becker & many family members will gather in his memory.
