Boyd Blevins

Boyd A. Blevins, 93 of Ventura went to be with his Lord on March 8, 2015. Boyd was born on December 29, 1921 in Charleston, Arkansas. He moved to Ventura California in 1938. He served in the army from August 26, 1942 thru January 17, 1946. Following his discharge from the army he worked as a postal carrier from 1946 to 1977 when he retired. Boyd was also an active member of the Church of Christ. Boyd was preceded in death by his wife Iva Blevins, his two sisters, and two grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Diana Jordan of Grand Junction, Colorado, his son Larry Blevins of Ventura, California and his granddaughter Christina Presnell of Little River, South Carolina. Visitation will be held at Charles Carroll Funeral Home Wednesday March 11, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM, with a graveside to follow Thursday March 12, 2015 at 11AM at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park Ventura, California. Deacon Bruce Tabor of The Church of Christ will be officiating.
