Clarence Warren Tank

Clarence Warren Tank, 93, of Oxnard died Sunday, February 28, 2010, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Tank was born November 25, 1916, in Heartland, Wisconsin and had been a five year county resident moving here from Appleton, Wisconsin.

Mr. Tank was retired having had a career both as a machinist and in real estate.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ventura.

His hobbies included fishing and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Evelyn R. Tank; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis L. and Maria Tank of Oxnard; daughter Barbara J. Rippy of Sacramento; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, March 13, 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 1338 E. Santa Clara Street, Ventura, with The Reverend Mary Birgelaitis officiating. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
