Donna F. Brooks

Donna was born August 7, 1929 in Columbus, Indiana to Willard “Casey” & Fern N. Foist She first moved to California in 1966 and became a resident of Ventura county, CA in 1979. She worked as a Secretary, Legal Secretary and retired as book keeper for Sully Miller contracting company in 1982.

After the Death of her husband Jack brooks she began sharing a residence with 2 of her daughters in Oxnard, CA.

She is survived by her five children: Janie Moore and Pam Priest of Oxnard CA, Kevin Malone of Ione, CA, Kirk Saffell of Canyon Country, CA and Candy Black of Visalia, CA. She is also survived by her five brothers and sisters: Bill Foist, Betty Lowery, Nancy Cordry, and Dave Foist. All of Columbus, Indiana and Jack Foist of Madison, Wisconsin. She had 9 Grand Children, 4 Great Grand Children and 1 Great, Great Grandchild.

Donna was also a member of Ventura Baptist Church in Ventura, CA. Although disability prevented her from attending in recent years, she was still a proud member and was frequently visited by members and clergy.

Donna will be greatly missed by all who knew her and especially by her family.

Cremation Services were entrusted to the care of Charles Carroll Funeral Home, Ventura, CA and services were private.
