Eileen Richmond

She was born on June 10, 1934 in Los Angeles to Thomas Shannon and Marguerite Bedford Shannon. Eileen was the baby of twelve children. She graduated from a catholic girl’s high school in 1952. Eileen married Bill Richmond in 1954, and they settled in Burbank where they raised their five children. The family relocated to Ventura in the summer of 2012, where they celebrated 59 years of marriage before Bill's passing in May 2013.

Eileen was a homemaker for the first part of her marriage, and then worked as a cashier for various grocery stores for 16 years before retiring in 1984.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Bill. She is survived by her sons William and Stephen; daughters Shannon, Coleen and Theresa; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Rosary and Mass will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. atSacred Heart Church in Ventura. Burial will immediately follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, Oxnard.
