Gloria Geraldine Terry

She was born the tenth of eleven children, to George and Ollie Bingham, in Oakdale, TN on October 24, 1925. She remained in the mountains of Morgan County until her marriage to Earl A. Terry on December 26, 1946. Their union produced three sons; Stephen Earl Terry of Beaumont, CA; David Lynn (wife Donna) Terry of Ringgold, GA and Jerry Dean (wife Darlyne) Terry of Merlin, OR. She dearly loved her grandchildren; Erica Chrystine Terry, Melissa Ann Kimball, Joshua Earl Terry and Trevor Dean Terry. She also loved and enjoyed her 6 great grandchildren. Jerry leaves countless friends who she loved and loved her as though they were family.She was preceded in death by her parents, her ten siblings and her husband Earl, of nearly 52 years.

Most of her life was spent in California even though she passed in Georgia, where she had lived since May of 2012. She was saved as a teenager, was of the Baptist faith and always testified to the goodness of our Savior. She loved gospel music and could sing like an angel through her younger years. She also loved bowling and participated for years in leagues in the Ventura/Oxnard area.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Monday September 23rd in The Carroll Family Chapel located in Charles Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 then continue to the burial at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura. Maps will be provided.
