He is survived by his wife Jan Hannah-Hammer; sons, James A. (Kristi), Blake (Brenda); daughter, Tracy Hammer Hinely (Bill); step-sons, Paul F Hannah (Carol), Eric D. Hannah; brother, John Hammer; sisters, Maxine Spaulding, Carol Ghibaudy (Carl), Jacki Stroud (Aaron); ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of James may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 742030, Los Angeles, CA, 90074.

A graveside service for Jim will be held at the Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura on Monday, February 3, 2014, at 2:30 P.M. with the Reverend Dan Hull officiating.
