Joshua N. Stevens

Joshua was born July 5, 1981, in Westlake California and was a 6th generation Californian. He is survived by his parents David and Catherine Stevens, Fiancée Nicole McHenry, Brother David Stevens’ Family of Hawaii, Sisters Alysein Stevens-Schow and Husband Joe’s Family of Templeton, CA, Courtney Megan Stevens of San Jose, CA, and Grandfather Col. Herb Prevost (USAF) of Ventura, CA. He will be missed by all his family, Uncles, Aunt, Cousins, Nieces and Nephew.

He graduated from Ventura High School and attended college in Hawaii. Josh was employed as an electrician for 10 years and worked throughout Ventura County, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.

He was an avid musician and enthusiastically introduced people to the music he loved. Josh played guitar in several local bands, one that played at the Roxi in Los Angeles. He treasured his guitars.

Joshua loved to snowboard, back pack and surf. He was never happier than when he was exercising or experiencing challenging sports. His faithful dogs were his companions on many adventures.

He had a zest for living and for Knowledge. He could discuss any subject with anyone and had a great desire to travel to other countries.

Joshua’s many friends will miss him and will be having a Celebration of His Life on Sunday June 30, 2013. Please contact Nicole McHenry.
