Judy Eileen Johnson, 59, of Ojai, Ca passed away November 23rd, 2013. She was born in Ventura, Ca March 27th, 1954 to Daniel and Odeis Speight. She was their middle child, having both an older brother and sister and younger sister and brother. Judy attended schools in the valley, graduating from Chaparel High School in 1972. Shortly after graduation on September 19th of 1972 she married Daniel Johnson. They spent the early years working and spending time with family. Judy had immeasurable love for her nieces and nephews, but it wasn't until the birth of her three children that she knew what her life's work was. Daniel worked outside the home to allow Judy to be a stay at home mom for their three children, Kayla Niccole, Daniel Adam, and Dylan Tomas. She passed her love of arts and crafts onto her children, teaching them to sew and cook, and the value of family. It is that love of family that led her youngest son, Dylan to marry Jessica and give Judy her greatest gift, her grandson, Salem Joshua Johnson. She was the heart of the family, the glue that holds the pieces together, and her family will be forever in her debt for teaching them to love with their whole heart. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, her three children, daughter-in-law, grandson, mother, brothers Daniel Speight and Louis Speight, and sister, Lura Miller, dozens of nieces and nephews, and innumerable friends. She is predeceased by her loving Father, Daniel, and her sister Georganna.
