

June Ann Kelly, 77, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She was born March 6, 1937 in Fostoria, Ohio. June graduated from Ross High School in Fremont, Ohio, class of 1955 and married Arthur Frank soon after. Together they had 3 children and moved to Pierpont Beach in Ventura in 1962. Two years later the family moved to the new suburbs in the east end of Ventura, where she lived for over 50 years.
June married Patrick Kelly in 1976, a loving union that’s lasted since.
She worked as an Office Manager for Hughes Toyota, Weber Motors, Lunsford Toyota, Kawasaki of Ventura and Industrial Cleaning and Coating. June and Patrick owned and operated a Fashion Two Twenty cosmetic franchise. She also spent more than twenty years working for the County of Ventura in numerous positions, eventually retiring as a supervisor in data processing at Ventura County Medical Center.
June was a long time member and past president of the Ventura Chapter of the Business and Professional Women’s group. She had been active with the Saticoy Little League and enjoyed being a Red Hat Lady, bowling, belly dancing, basketball, fashion, line dancing, yoga, walking her neighborhood, travel, gardening, shoe shopping with her grandson, playing piano, sour candy and stamping (which she was so talented at that she gave classes). She also had over 2000 workouts at Curves.
June especially loved her family, friends and pets.
She survived by her husband, Patrick Kelly; 3 children, Veronica Frank and Lisa Kelly of Ventura, and Arthur Frank of Hawaii; 3 grandchildren, Robert Davis and Danny Bershers of Ventura, Stephanie Hennessey of Washington; and 3 great grandchildren, Landon, Cillian and Sophie.
June was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 11:00am at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura.
