

Nadine Ann Clay Stephenson went to be with her husband, Travis on Monday, February 13th, 2012. Travis died on February 7th and he was waiting with open arms for her. He was a great husband. She was a great mother, grand-mother & great-grand-mother. She fought a courageous 13 month battle with Lung Cancer.
Nadine was born June 24th, 1939, in Garvin, Oklahoma, to Bryan Clay and Jewel Clay. In 1956 she married the love of her life Travis B. Stephenson and for the next 55 years they had a lifetime of wonderful memories.
She is survived by her 6 daughters: Beverley Zimdars (husband Harry), Aileen Morrison (husband Mike), Cindy Barajas (husband Jacinto), Julie Butler (Todd), Karen Galvan (husband Robert) and Lisa Stephenson. Grandchildren: Megan, Jarrod, Ashley, Adam, Travis, Amanda, Kali, Cassandra, Cheyanne & Trevor. Great-grandchildren: Daniel, Lea, Sean, Angelina, Olin & Melanie. She loved all her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren unconditionally. She is also survived by three sisters Helen, Kathryn & Pat (husband Gary), as well as her honorary daughters Kristin Reneau, Nancy SooHoo, & Tracy SooHoo.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, father and brothers.
Nadine liked to crochet, sew, cook, sing & listen to music.

Visitation will take place Thursday, February 16, 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
Services will be held Friday, February 17, 10:00 A.M. also at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, with The Reverend Dan Hull officiating.
Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.
