Pedro Matias Fernandez

Pedro, or Matt as we called him, was born on a beautiful, hot, summer morning in the town of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina; January 26, 1981. He was supposed to arrive in March, but the Doctor couldn't hold him back any longer. He arrived almost 5 weeks early. Little did we know that would characterize his life. Always kicking his way out, doing everything the way he wanted it and when he wanted it. Along the way he probably made some enemies, but he made a lot more friends; good friends, those who were always there by his side, there for him, lending a hand and supporting him. Friends like you. For that, we his family thank you.

Pedro "Matt" received Jesus as his savior when he was a boy and in doing that he bought a one way ticket to His presence. The day of his departure was February 3, 2013 at the same time of day as when he was born. We will see him again because we have the assurance from the Word of God: "For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens". II Corinthians 5:1
