Peggy Irene Unrine

Peggy Irene Unrine, 87, of Ventura, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, following a lengthy illness. She was born on February 8, 1931, in Kansas, to Fred Heberling and Mary Eula Helen (Longstaff) Heberling. Peggy has been a Ventura County resident for 61 years.

She work for Aerospace for a time and became a business owner of an oil field maintenance company, called “ICC, Inc.,” for over 20 years, retiring in 1984.

Peggy was a high spirited country girl at heart, and enjoyed country dancing.

She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” Cain, of Thousand Oaks, CA; sisters, Uella Harness, of New Port Richey, FL and Lois DeHart, of Largo, FL; grandchildren, Cody Cain and Summer Cain-Wargo; and great grandchildren, Kayleb Fairbank and Aisley Finn.

Peggy was preceded in death her brothers, Clayton and Herb Herberling; and sister, Naomi Tarwater.
