Richard brought his family to California after serving his country in WWII. He was a member of the US Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, and was a 52 year resident of Ventura. Richard retired from So. CA Edison after 31 years. He enjoyed football and Big Band music.
Richard now leaves behind his wife Millicent; son Steven; daughter Karen; two granddaughters Heidi and Alisha and three great grandchildren: Daylen, Allyson and Breslyn.
A memorial with military honors is planned for 11:00 a.m., February 9, 2011 at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Rd. Ventura, 93003.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma drive, Ventura, CA 93003.
