Roland Niednagel, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed from this life on December 25, 2012, into the waiting arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a valiant battle with cancer. Roland was born April 5, 1946 in Evansville, Indiana.
Roland was a pastor and church planter for over 35 years, most recently as the senior pastor of Bible Fellowship Church for 16 years. He also mentored and coached countless leaders who were recipients of his wisdom, and his willingness to invest his life and experience in others.
He graduated from Florida State University, held a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Roland is survived by his wife, Patricia Anne, son Matt (Petra), daughter Miriam (Joe), son Michael and daughter Melissa; step-children Jalena (Edmond), Crystal (Brock), David (Jessica), Jeff, 11 grandchildren, brothers Paul (Lynn), David (Judy), Jon (Barbara), and numerous nieces and nephews.
