Roland C. Richardson, age 84, passed away in Ventura on February 28, 2011 after a brief illness. He was born on February 3, 1927 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Roland was a 70 year resident of Ventura County coming from Salmon, Idaho in 1942.
He retired in 1986 after 20 years as a warehouse worker for Ventura College.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family.
Roland is survived by his son, Brad Richardson and wife Denise of Ventura; grandsons, Gunner and Ryder Richardson; brothers, Delmar Richardson and wife Ruth of Sonoma, CA, Melvin Richardson of Ventura, Dean Richardson of Sun Valley, Nevada and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
