

We lost our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, neighbor, friend and cousin, Rosanna Fay. She went home to our Lord on Monday, November 24, 2014. She was approaching her 90th birthday. Rosanna was born January 26, 1925 to Robert and Agnes Limberger in Helena Montana. Rosanna married James Fay in 1959. Jim and Rosanna moved to Ventura in 1971 with their four children and dog. They stopped in Ventura on their honeymoon and fell in love with the town. When the time came to move, they decided Ventura was the place and she cherished Ventura. Rosanna was the "Lunch Lady" at Pierpont School and Buena High School; she worked for an optometrist, and finally at Ventura Stamp Company until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, walking at the beach, and cooking. She sewed, and was an avid Wheel of Fortune and Days of Our Lives watcher. Rosanna is preceded in death by her husband James C. Fay and her sister Margaret Schimpf. Rosanna is survived by her four children Jimmy, Lucy, David (wife Laurie), Joyce-all of Ventura. Rosanna loved her three grandchildren, Jessica, Dillon, and Avery. Rosanna is also survived by her sister-in-law Ann Fay of Helena Montana, many nieces and nephews, and their families who reside is Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Washington, and California. Rosanna had numerous honorary children and grandchildren whom she considered her family. Rosanna leaves behind her beloved dogs Erin and Bailey who were always at her side. We are having a viewing and Rosary at Charles Carroll Funeral Home on Teloma Drive in Ventura Monday evening, December 1, 2014. The viewing will be from 5-7pm and the rosary will begin at 7pm. Her funeral will be at 11am, Tuesday December 2, 2014 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Telegraph Road in Ventura.
