Victoria Lee Boverson

Vickie was married to her beloved Gregory Robert Boverson on June 26, 1971 in Santa Barbara. Together they had four children. Through the ups and downs, the good and bad, this family always made it through together.

When the family moved to Oak View, Vickie worked as a teacher’s aid for Oak View Elementary. She always had a passion for working with children and giving back to her community. She then began her journey in the insurance business. She worked as an insurance agent for Montgomery Ward and, not long after, she became a Farmers Insurance agent and created her own business. She was dedicated to being the best insurance agent she could be for her community for over 30 years. She had a big heart and she was a hard worker. She ran this successful business in the Ojai Valley for the remainder of her life.

She was an avid billiards player on the APA Pool League in the Ojai Valley. She always had a competitive spirit and good sportsmanship. She enjoyed sharing this sport with her friends and beloved son Gregory Scott Boverson.

Vickie loved to spend time with family and friends. She loved to take her kids camping and to the beach. She also enjoyed holidays spent with family and always made sure no one left feeling hungry. Vickie was ALWAYS there for you in times of trouble.

Vickie will be so dearly missed by all who loved her, including her children: daughters Deborah, Lisa, Christina and son Gregory S. Boverson, and grandchildren: Hanna, Austin, Zachary, Justin and Lexi. We will all miss the great family times we shared.

“You will be missed Mom, but we know you are at peace now in heaven with the Lord, watching down on us and guiding us.”

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 16 in the chapel at the Ojai Valley First United Methodist Church, 120 Church Rd., Ojai, CA 93023. Phone: 646-3528. A small gathering will follow adjacent to the chapel.
