Allan Gerald Gray

8 June, 1945 – 24 December, 2021

We are shocked and devastated to announce the passing of our father, Allan Gerald Gray, on December 24, 2021 at the age of 76.

Al was predeceased by his parents, Vaughn and Rose Gray (nee

Strymecki) and his daughter, Charlene Sheldon (nee Gray).

Left to mourn Al and cherish his memory are; his partner Sharon Lawson, his brother Edwin Gray, his sons Sheldon Gray and Shawn Gray, his daughters Brenda Culos (nee Gray) and Regina Gray, his step-daughter Roxanne Nero, his grandsons Johnathan Culos and Brandon Viskovich, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous endless friends he met along the way. Al spent most of his career as a truck driver for various companies throughout Alberta and BC. When he could no longer drive trucks, his passion for driving ‘steered’ him into taxi cab driving. Al had many stories about his cab driving years and we always enjoyed listening to them.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kevin, Jeannie, and Jesse who visited Al in the hospital when Sharon couldn’t be there.

Allan – meaning: handsome; cheerful; little rock. Allan has Scottish/Irish Gaelic origins. “Imaginative and creative, new ideas and concepts are always there for him to explore…His ambition is strong; and his future success in life is inevitable”.
