Aparecida D'Agosto

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Aparecida D’Agosto announces her peaceful passing on the morning of June 8, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, on January 19, 1937, Aparecida lived a life rooted in faith, family, and compassion. In 1963, she and her beloved husband, Donato D’Agosto, began a new life in Montreal, Canada, eventually settling in Vernon, British Columbia in 1969, where they built a loving home together. Aparecida was Catholic and attended St. James Church in Vernon, where she found community and comfort. To her family, she was lovingly known as Nona, and to all who knew her, she was simply Cida. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Donato, her son Salvador (Theresa), and her grandsons: Jason (Amanda), Daniel (Katie), and Andrew (Victoria). She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Jessica, Antonio, Mia, and Gabriel, and her precious great-great-granddaughter, Meadow. She is now reunited and resting in eternal peace with her beloved daughter, Christina, whose memory she held close every day. Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped raise, the memories she created, and the kindness she shared with all who crossed her path. She will be forever missed, deeply loved, and always remembered.
