Barbara Joyce Stevens

Barbara was a member of Rebekah lodge and in the choir and back yard band at the Schubert Center in Vernon.

Barbara is survived by her children Larry (Janice) of Princeton, BC , Bruce (Connie) of Quesnel, BC, Helen (Bill) Finnigan, of Merritt, BC, Rick (Barb) of Surrey, BC, Brad (Cher) of Victoria, BC, Grant Stevens of Vancouver, BC, and Ginny Stevens of Logan Lake, BC. Two sisters Connie Dobie, and Olive Green, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband Ray, her parents Mary and Oliver Smith of Vernon, three sisters, Vivian, Elmo and Margaret and one brother Sid.

A Memorial Tea will be held on November 21, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Schubert Center. A special thanks to the staff at Gateby Care Center and the Vernon Jubilee Hospital who looked after her during her stay.

In lieu of flowers those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Barbara may do so to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
