Born in England, David immigrated to Canada in 1983 and operated a business in Salmon Arm until 1990, then moving to Vernon.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Maureen; daughter Kim (Trevor) Porter; grandchildren Nathalie, Ashleigh, and Carl; and numerous relatives in England.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so may make donations in his memory to the Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge, 1125 Ptarmigan Road, Chase, BC V0E 1M1.
A gathering to celebrate David’s life will be held at a future date. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Vernon Funeral Home 250-542-0155.
