The first night we met I’ll never forget. 

This is not okay. You are my best friend. 
I  wanted someone just like you in my life and then found you on your birthday… 10 years ago. We had the best and worst times and never looked back but I let you down and I’m sorry. I’m mad at you now but I know you’re mad at me. I love you so much. I’m going to do what I said I was going to do because you told me to and I said I would… then I got out of my own way … and then you were gone. Life lied. Never too late… was a lie. I’m sorry. There goes all our life goals…. And future memories and I’m so confused, I love you so much. Thank you for saving my life. And being the beautiful human and friend you always will be, in my heart. I’m devastated. Love wins and I will keep my word from now on. I love you Jonathan. - laurie your flake bff. 

My deepest condolences to Jonathan’s family and friends, he was quite the lad.  We had great conversations about car camping and living life outside.  He loved to live life despite it not always being easy, he had a way to persevere and I had a lot of respect for him because of that.  I hope you rest easy!

My deepest condolences to Jonathan’s family.  Jonathan himself was a jovial, energetic, caring person.  I once told him the world was a better place with him in it, and I still stand by those words.  Though, I’m glad he has found peace.
I will love to know where and when a bench in his memory happens in Revelstoke.  I will be sure to visit and pay respects and reflect about my short time with him.

Rest with your Creator my friend. I hope you dance with your ancestors and can Jedi battle as much as you want in peaceful bliss. I read some spirits walk westward for four days before they finally reach their destination, it only takes two days to walk to Revelstoke, but considering your love for dance I’m sure you took your time and made it there.  I can’t seem to stop dreaming of you, I wish we had more time to get to know one another under different circumstances but I hope you know how much everyone here cared for you. I hope you feel all the love and peace that you so badly deserved to feel in this life.
