Lilian passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 in Kelowna, BC. Born April 25, 1923 in Condor, Alberta to Anne and Wallace Clement, Lilian was the youngest of five siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Brenda (Carl) and her grandchildren Carlene and Kevin, her nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Wallace, her son Kenny, her siblings, as well as 3 husbands, James Thomas, Fred Hewitt, Scotty Norman, and two companions.
During her life, she worked sewing for Eatons, riveting planes during the war, selling Tupperware and finally working at a golf course in Victoria. Her sewing became a passion, creating anything from curtains, quilts, and teddy bears that she gifted to her many friends and family.
Lil loved to travel, in her life she embarked and completed a cross Canada journey, vacationed in Denmark, Brazil, Australia twice, and many excursions into the U.S.A. She also enjoyed cruises in Alaska, the Caribbean, and Panama. She was a snowbird in Apache Junction for many years.
Our deepest thanks to the staff at the Chatsworth Retirement Facility and the Village at Mill Creek who made her last years enjoyable and comfortable.
