Thanks Jim Johnson & family, Vivian, Diana, and Pat for all the love, and to those of you who made a difference in her life.
Her accomplishments included life time memberships of the Lumby Legion Axillary, Pythian Sisters and Lumby United Church, where she spent countless hours preparing soups and pies for the many church fundraisers. She also spent hours of volunteering for the Pythian Sisters, canteens, teas and helping with fundraisers for the Lumby Royals Ball Park, and working at events at the Lumby Curling Rink and Funtastic events.
She was citizen of the year in 1995 for her hours of volunteering with her service clubs. Her hard work was very deserving of this award. She worked at the Feed Store, Shoe Store and the Butcher Shop.
Thanks to Dr. Boucher and his staff, as well to Kyle and staff of Lumby IDA for their exceptional care and services over the years. Thanks to the staff at Gateby Day Break (you are the best), and to Dr. Larsen for your loving care.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver BC.
A private family gathering to be held at a later date.
