Jackie Lellman died peacefully in her sleep at Gateby Care Center on Sunday, August 7th at the age of 88. Jackie was predeceased by her husband Glen, of 67 years, on September 18, 2021.
She leaves behind her sons, Greg and Charlie and her daughters Louise (Brian) Unrau and Monica (Nick) Kleyn; grandchildren Rhett Unrau, Rachel Unrau and Alida (Justin) Hildebrand. Her sister and best friend Jeannette deDood and her loving brother Chuck (Marlene) Poitras and many nieces and nephews.
Our thanks go out to all the wonderful people at Columbus Court, where mom and dad resided for the last five years. The staff and residents took extra special care of our mom after our dad died. We would also like to thank Dr. Lindsey Hayward for her dedication and compassion to mom and the nurses, care aides, staff and the front door ambassadors at Gateby Care Centre. May everyone be blessed for all they did for our dear mom.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Columbus Court in Vernon, BC. on Sept. 17th from 2-4 pm.
