Marjorie was born in Bracebridge, Ontario on April 17th, 1931 and after many moves, including Edmonton, Alberta, settled in British Columbia.
She was a very active member of the Business and Professional Club for over 15 years, including being Co-Chairperson for the International Congress in 1971 and Co-Ordinator for the Habitat for Humanity Conference in 1974. She was also a volunteer at Valleyview in Coquitlam, President of the Volunteer Association and Publisher of the Valleyview Link newspaper, also for about 15 years.
Marjorie will be greatly missed by her children Trudy and Rick, grandson Michael (Nicole) and great grandchildren Naya and Grayson as well as her many friends.
Our thanks to Mom’s friend Marie for her companionship and aid and to the wonderful staff at Hospice House.
A gathering to honour her memory will be arranged at a later date.
