It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul John Anthony Worth on December 28, 2025, in Vernon, BC. Born on April 4, 1945, in Vancouver, BC, Paul lived a full and vibrant life, determined to do things on his own terms - and he did so until the very end.
Paul is lovingly remembered by his wife, Karen Lea Worth; his sons Sean (Lina) and James (Monique); and his cherished grandchildren Evan, Hannah, Nathan, Curtis, and Hudson. He is also survived by his brothers Michael (Gail), Bryan (Suzanne), and Jock, and former daughter-in-law Cindy Worth. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Helen Worth, and his sister-in-law, Carol Worth.
Passionate about sports and cars, Paul was a fixture on the local sports scene. In his youth he spent leisure time playing and organizing hockey and fastball. Later, Paul helped found a local car club, where he built lasting friendships and shared his love for hot rods and custom automobiles. His enthusiasm and determination touched everyone who knew him, and his wry sense of humour will be greatly missed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, and anyone wishing to leave a personal message to the family may do so on the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home website. The family plans to hold a remembrance service in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation in Paul’s memory.
