Robert Joseph Allison

It is with profound sadness we announce that Robert Joseph Allison passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at his home in Vernon, BC.

He is remembered by his children, Tiffany Dorion (Aubin) and Dustin Allison (Kaitlyn); his grandson, Félix Dorion; his sisters, Marie Allard, Susan Allison, and Shari Allison; his niece Jamie Cavenaile and nephew Ross Allard.

Dad was born June 12, 1957 to Marguerite and Robert Allison Sr. in Rossland, BC. Most of his adult life was spent in Vernon, BC where he built a life for himself and enjoyed his passion of golf. He was a caring, supportive and loving man who gave generously and thoughtlessly. He will be missed so much by those who were lucky enough to know him and those who were just getting that chance.

A celebration of Dad’s life will be held at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm. It isn't mandatory, but Dad would have loved to see everyone colourfully dressed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dad’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
