I always knew her as "Tante Ruth", even though our true relationship was a very distant one. I remember her hearty laugh, huge, warm smile and kind disposition. Even in later years, when we'd chat on the phone, she'd enjoy a good banter about the latest news topic.
To Rudy, Kurt, Martin and Eric and extended family, we send our warmest sympathy at this sad time. May she go in God's Grace and be at Peace in His arms.

So sad to hear of Tante Ruth's passing. Though we never had the opportunity to live close to her and Uncle Nathan, my Mom (Tante Ruth's sister-in-law) shared many stories with us about their time in Regina. So glad that Mom was able to go to BC a few years ago and visit them. On behalf of my Mom Irma, my husband Chris, my brother Pete and his wife Josie, sending all our love and prayers to Tante Ruth's family and friends. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all the people who knew her and loved her. And now, she is in very good hands up in Heaven. Rest in peace, Tante Ruth. We will all meet again.
Love, Sue xo

She was married to my mothers’ brother and she was my Tante Ruth. In Regina, at her home she always had the biggest tin can of peanut butter and a huge jar of honey. We’d sneak tablespoons full at a time and enjoy. Her laugh was incredible. She was a good mother to her four boys and their families. In memory of you Tante Ruth - See you on the other side!
