We are saddened to announce the passing of Sharron Joyce Strom on January 4, 2024. Sharron was born and raised in Melville, Saskatchewan. She spent her working career in hospital settings in Melville, Saskatchewan, Nelson and Salmon Arm, BC. She spent much of her spare time helping in the Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop and organizing their annual garage sale.
Sharron was predeceased by her spouse, Peter Strom, her parents George and Verna Turberfield, and a brother, Melvin Turberfield. She leaves to mourn her passing, her brother Allan (Heather) Turberfield of Chilliwack, sister Verna Lynn (Mark Thorne) Turberfield of Edmonton, brother Wayne Turberfield of Kelowna and Shirley Anderson from White Rock.
Sharron requested that there be no service, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shuswap Hospice Society, #4, 781 Marine Park Dr., Salmon Arm, BC V1E 2W7.
