Debra Sue Nixon

Debra Sue Nixon, age 63 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in the ICU at Wilson Health Hospital in Sidney, Ohio. She was born on December the 6th, 1958 in Troy, Ohio to Jack Nixon and Joanne Runner Nixon.

Debra is survived by Joseph L. Wilbur, 39 year companion, a son, Joel A. Nixon and his friend Shanda Vickrey, grandkids Christian David Nixon, Gabrial Michael Nixon, Harmony Grace Nixon, Pheonix Nixon; and many nieces and nephews. Debra is also survived by her sisters, Terri Nixon, Jacque Nixon, and Stacey and Joe Napier, In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by father, Jack Nixon, her sister Cheryl Nixon and a son—Shawn Patrick Nixon.

Debra had several jobs in her lifetime, including Copeland Corp, Spring Hill Nurseries and baby sitting and seemed to enjoy most.

Debra enjoyed playing and singing country music. Collected keychains, enjoyed garage sale-ing and thrift stores, horses, crocheting.

Family and friends enjoy visitation on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, 653 Hickey Ave, Versailles, OH 45380. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Fred Bernhard presiding. Burial at Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford, Ohio.
